The annual Museboat Musies Award
The competition consists of several rounds and ends with the announcement of the 25 FINALISTS and three WINNERS in the Annual Gala Chart show.
The competition also includes categories: BEST SONG LYRICS, BEST SONG PRODUCTION,
BEST POP SONG, BEST ROCK SONG, BEST ALTERNATIVE SONG, BEST COUNTRY SONG and finally SONG OF THE YEAR.
For a fair course of the competition, the system of the competition is set up to take into account the direct participation
in the form of presence sharing, tweeting, giving feedback as well as the presence of fans in the chatroom during the whole year and in the individual rounds.
It is possible to vote repeatedly in the contest as many times as possible.
As part of the Annual Chart competition, a JURY PRIZE and MOST PRECIOUS SUPPORTER is also awarded

The results of individual competition rounds are always announced on Wednesdays and subsequently also on Thursdays and Sundays during replays.
Listeners can visit and support any artist throughout the day by writing their name in the chatroom.

Tommy Rice lost his precious wife Deborah to brain cancer in which they battled for almost 3 years. She was the greatest love he has ever known.
After being asked to write a short story of her fight to stay alive, he read to his grief recovery class and his classmate asked to make it a song.
Two years later, with no experience in writing, he now has 192 written songs, 84 recorded songs, 2 number ONE songs, a number two Christmas song,
9 songs with radio play that are all highly charted, 2021 nomination for Crossover Artist of the Year, 2022 New Country Group of the Year award,
and a book titled Miss Her More Today Than Yesterday. All of his songs are about our love of Jesus and the real love they shared together.

The Best Song Production Prize of the Museboat Musies Award 2023 goes to CLARK FORD - Throwin Our Love Away
MMA 2022 FINALIST Clark Ford is a songwriter from California, living a much less expensive life in the midwest USA. He has had a life-long love of music ranging from pop to rock, country, folk, jazz, blues, sacred, musical theatre, and classical music, and he has tried his hand at writing in all of those genres! His music is influenced by his favorite artists from most of the last 75+ years, although he is not that old...yet! His albums have focused on country, and pop music to date, many from musical theater shows he has written, but his current project is an album of retro jazz and blues.

Heidi is ESTA European String Teachers Association Finland Board President and Solo Finland Vice President. Solo Finland is an Association for soloist, solo musicians and conductors.

Museboat Music Awards Best Song 2022 Winner HiSQ is a Finnish collective of creative people. HiSQ is mostly about good songs created for the love of music. HiSQ founder and songwriter Erkki Vuokila gives free hands to Peter Engberg and the skillful HiSQ band in the studio. The songs get their final form there. The genre is of no importance, only that they all are satisfied with what they’ve done. All HiSQ songs have different singers picked with the utmost care. In 2021 they released five songs. Ravenheart(GB) are a unique and powerful band fusing hard rock/metal to produce music which is a darkly gothic and melodious mix, influenced by metal, rock, sci fi, fantasy, horror and the dystopian times we live in. # 2 THE CAPTAINS SYNDROME - I believe
With band like Dogtoys, Loony Locos and some local bands from Umeå (Jane Horney) and Jakobstads (Ragnar Hare) on our resume. Mickey and his cousin Kim started this ensamble. And of course with our drum genius Kimmie. Throught the years our house gods have almost look the same, just like from our teenage walls. Iggy Pop, Ramones, U2 and of course the not completely forgotten 80-90 scens. Mickey looked back even more earlier to the 50’s scen. Thats explains our sound quite well. We have not invented something new, only something we like and have feelings for. Our only intentions is to have more fun and have some laugh together. The Best Country Song Prize of the Museboat Musies Award 2023 goes to SUN-PINNED LEAVES - Voyage Of The Mayflower
Throughout the course of their exciting journey as a group, the members of Sun-Pinned Leaves have won over the hearts of music lovers across the globe. With the members performing at a variety of venues and making countless public appearances, this talented Rock Band has earned the admiration and affection of critics and fans alike. Playing a unique blend of Americana and other genres Sun-Pinned Leaves are UK duo Christopher Brown (Kent) on vocals & Neil Faulkner (Southend) playing most instruments. Josh Faulkner (Colchester) appears on some tracks and for live work. Chris and Neil first wrote songs together at school in 1975 continuing to write and perform together until pursuing separate projects in the mid-1980s. Having reunited in they have released five albums since 2019.

Sharon grew up in the small town of Napinka, Manitoba, Canada and now resides in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. At the age of 14 she learned how to play the guitar and from that point she spent most weekends around southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan playing gigs all over the provinces. This present day music veteran is focused and constantly honing her songwriting skills in Country, Folk and Blues Genres. Her lyrics are pure storytelling with melodies that move the listener to believe that she is writing their story.

Greg Parrish has considerable experience amazing audiences with his animated and powerful live performances. He has been gracing country music with live shows for over 25 years.
Having grown up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, Greg Parrish has enjoyed singing and performing his entire life from high school chorus, bluegrass gospel upright bassist to acoustic guitar and backing vocals in a variety band.
Continually growing and adapting his music, Parrish has played in multiple groups and enjoyed much success as a rising solo artist. Most recently Greg was awarded “Male Artist of the Year” and “Entertainer or the Year” by the Carolina Country Music Association. Greg and his band performed at the Carolina Country Music Awards show at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, SC and also played to a full house at the CCMA pre-show party and after-party at the famous Bowery in Myrtle Beach.
The Best Alternative Song Prize of the Museboat Musies Award 2023 goes to ROBERT JAMES - A Saucer Full of Sound
I Started an original three piece rock band in the mid seventies called "SNO " { Basement band } Members were, my brother, Ronnie James, on Drums, my friend, Danny Carpenter, musician, song writer on guitars, and myself on bass. for a short time we experimented, playing only original music, to this day we still occasionally get together and jam at Danny's home studio in Montreal. Around the early 80"s I also collaborated with another friend of mine Brian Letual , a musician, song writer and drummer, we recorded a few songs together at his home studio in Montreal.

LUXTHEREAL is a band with eclectic interests and musical expression in an increasingly genre and sample driven musical universe. The original music of LUXTHEREAL derives from its own unique synthesis of classic rock, new wave, power pop, techno, blues, jazz, progressive rock, and beyond. The focus is on the storyline as expressed in the mood, melody, lyrics and arrangement of each song; each it's own world for the listener to inhabit.

We find there the legendary groups that influenced his adolescence: Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy … . Connoisseurs will also recognize the masters of the Blues; those who brought the foundations: Peter Green, Albert King Eric Clapton among others .. On the playing side, we talk about fluidity, dexterity, a velvety sound when needed. A skilful mix between vintage and modernity, the right balance between catchy riffs and hard-hitting solos that a flawless technique serves with delight.
Just like every year, we have now expanded our competition with a JURY PRIZE. This prize goes to the authors of the most original compositions that we have in our extensive music catalog, regardless of the music genre. When deciding on the winner of the jury prize, we also took into account the artist's participation and activity in the chatroom during all previous rounds of our competition. PLETHORA OF BLISS Born and raised in Seattle, I moved to Costa Rica many years ago, seeking a new way of life. A poet by nature, I hadn't considered writing music until a friend asked me to try singing an original song for him. I suggested edits to his song, and realised that I very much enjoyed adding/changing melodies to existing songs, and decided to try to write original music on my own. I was introduced to a talented producer who could take my humming and verbal description of how I wanted the song to go, and he was able to put it into digital format so others could hear what I heard in my head. I now have a home studio and am able to assist my producer more so he can literally hear what I'm thinking. The music just comes to me, starting with a small melody, usually starting with the chorus, and a couple of words, or string or words, then I create the rest of the song based upon that. I absolutely love creating new music and being able to share it with others, so they can hear what I hear. It's a magical process that fills my soul with bliss :)

ANDY SHEARER An award winning Singer/Songwriter from Middlesbrough, Andy creates, performs and produces his own music.
