PLETHORA OF BLISS - Rising Like a Phoenix
Lyrics LAURA BENCINI
For the longest time I lived my life thinking This world was Mine for the taking I thought any obstacle I could overcome “If it’s going to be, it’s up to ME” When I was young, my father Was always saying But later I learned some battles can’t be won Oh I’ve suffered hard knocks That really hurt Found myself on the Ground eating dirt But I always got back up, dusted off and recomposed There was always a solution Clearly I had thought If I tried harder it could Always be sought To find another way to look at the problem I always supposed (Instrumental) Was never thrashed to the point That I was truly needing Even at times when I found myself bleeding I knew I had it in me to get back up into the ring But suddenly the beatings came Too quick and severe And I noticed too late I was consumed with fear I found myself paralyzed and couldn’t achieve a thing…..
And I’m rising like a Phoenix Rocketing into the sky Dusting off the ashes from Everything that caused me to die And my spirit’s supercharged With a power I cannot deny Spreading my crimson wings Cause I’m determined to fly (Instrumental) Then the jackals sought To surround this bird My blood they now smelled My whimpers were heard It’s hard to fake strength when you don’t like deceit The closer they’d sniff The more they’d pry Got to the point I wouldn’t look ‘em in the eye Their salivating tongues showed the truth of my defeat Oh, echoing howls of lust And nips were taken Then biting and slashing As I felt forsaken I was damaged thru and thru to the point of no return In shock I lay stunned And lost my will to live The fire inside me Finally had to give While the jackals all laughed and smiled as they watched me burn
I died that day and it was hard to accept my fate To accept I couldn’t set things right, to this I couldn’t relate What a waste I’d become, now gone was my strong beating heart Thankfully someone found me, and chose to push RESTART…
And I’m rising like a Phoenix You’re rising like a Phoenix We’re rising like a Phoenix Cause we’re determined to fly!
A poet since she could string words together, Seattle born Plethora of Bliss didn’t realise she could write music until later in life. One day, a friend asked her to sing some of his original music, and she suggested changes to make his songs more vibrant. Soon after, she started writing her own music, which turned into her biggest passion. Plethora of Bliss recorded her first single, “Change It All” in 2020 after being introduced to producer Miguel Garcia of Octavia Studios, in Costa Rica where she currently resides. She refers to him as her “Interpreter” because of his ability to understand what she is hearing in her mind and put it into digital format to share her music with the world. Plethora of Bliss does not consider herself a singer/songwriter so much as a composer who sings her own material. Her goal is to continue bringing music to the world that is inspirational, uplifting, and meaningful. She hopes to one day write for other established artists. Her biggest joy is to write songs that touch people’s hearts and souls.

"There are really a lot of amazing songs on the Museboat channel this year and I admit that I spent a long time deciding which one I would give my vote for as the song with the best production. It was really hard. That's why I decided for myself that the most important parameter of production this year would be the symbiosis of vocal composition with music. My choice could not be anyone other than the song Dreamer by JESSIE GALANTE, which literally includes all the known emotions that make up great music. Jessie's amazing voice and masterful mastery of the super difficult parts of the song left me with chills every time I remembered this song. This is my choice."

My show, “The Invitation,” features casual and pleasant two-hour chats with both well-known and lesser-known artists. Being a radio host, it exposes me to a wide range of music. My favorite style is country, which likely influenced my own musical preferences. Inspired by artists like Kris Kristofferson, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash, I decided to record my own song.

TINA LEBEA - Compassion
Tina Lebea born in South Africa named as Albertina, grew up with her two sisters at her Grandparents place in Soweto, Johannesburg.
In the childhood she was inspired by the black music, Miriam Makeba and Ike & Tina Turner. At the age of 15 she had to leave the school due to the “June 16 Soweto Youth Uprising” in 1976. Because of boredom, Tina went to work and joined a tailor’s manufacturing company. She supported her family and took responsibility at the earliest stage. With 17 years she was scouted as a model and an actress in Johannesburg by a famous model agent. Besides her model career, she was touring nearly 4 years throughout South Africa with “Pyjama Tops” comedy and was the first black actress performing with white actors during the Apartheid regime. She got the lead role in “Ngwanaka o tla nkgopola” Soap Opera. This movie was the first broadcasted film for the Blacks.
"If I had to give an award for the most interesting song on the Museboat channel, I would choose the song Compassion by TINA LEBEA. Although I don't understand half of the lyrics in the language sung, I feel like I'm floating somewhere above the African savannah and listening to the music of the entire surrounding nature. In the song and especially in Tina's amazing voice, you can feel passion, determination, energy, hope... simply everything that a really great song requires. The great production only underlines my opinion. So this is my choice."

Massachusetts native R.G.Williamson is a member of BMI and an internationally published songwriter and musician. He blends decades of musical influences into his song creations with lyrics that are both dark and light-hearted in nature. Vocal harmonies, melody and guitar hooks are the driving force throughout all of his songs that touch on subjects such as relationships, life challenges, inspiration, fantasy and the supernatural. The great grandchild of Swedish and Irish immigrants, Richard Gunnard Williamson was born in 1967 in the historic fishing port of Gloucester, Massachusetts made famous by the movie The Perfect Storm. He is the third of four children. Although raised in a modestly poor household his parents always found ways to entertain friends and family during holidays and special occasions. Music was always a central part of that entertainment. and as a result he was constantly exposed to a wide variety of musical styles and genres that would ultimately influence his own songwriting in later years. In 2014 he wrote, recorded and released his first single as a solo artist titled “Nothing” and on October 27th, 2021, after three months of writing, recording. producing and engineering he released his first full length, self-produced album “The Solid State of Life in a Vacuum” on his own independent music label "R.G. Williamson Music". It's worth noting that although he never completed college for an art degree he has been fully responsible for all the artwork on every album release as well as all graphic logo designs and advertisements for every musically project he's been a part of.
