ADAMANTRA

Adamantra is a progressive metal band from Finland. The idea of Adamantra was born two decades ago, when Jukka Hoffrén started to record some of his own compositions and ideas on his friend's computer. The songs started getting fleshed out, and it was time to form a band. Tuomas Nieminen, Mikko Sepponen and Panu Kiskola, all known to Hoffrén, got picked for the band and Adamantra was born. After several session keyboard players, Christian Pulkkinen (Chrism) joined the lineup. The band members are well-known in the Finnish metal scene from the bands James LaBrie, Eden’s Curse, Amberian Dawn, Coventhrall and Simulacrum. Adamantra has released two full length album and and one EP so far. And now the brand-new third album ""Act III: Pareidolia of Depravity"" is ready to be released. All eight songs of the new album tell the dark stories of the evil from the different eras that exists around us, but it is open to interpretation and viewpoints. Combined with versatile compositions and virtuoso instrumental parts, these form an inexhaustible vein of gold for the fans of progressive and power metal.
