It’s the name for this Finnish collective. It’s short for Hi Status Quotes but also for instance Hi Status Quirks and Hi Status Qualified.
It’s mostly about good songs created for the love of music. Our collective and the HiSQ band together try to create something special.
The genre is of no importance, only that we are satisfied with what we’ve done. Before going to studio we usually know, who is going to sing the song.
The Quotes’ music is inspired by words heard in tv series or movies. They can be classic lines or just some random words that suddenly make Erkki hear a melody in his head.
Erkki is a big Abba fan, so he likes to play with words and how they sound and doesn’t take them too seriously. The five first Quotes’ songs are being published as an extended p
lay.
The Quirks will be something you don’t expect. No need to tell more at this point. Hi Status Qualified is dedicated to an especially good music with no quotes or quirks!
Before becoming a solo artist Jessie Galante has enjoyed the success of two major bands since she started singing in her hometown, Buffalo, NY and crowned Buffalo ’ s First Lady Of Rock
with the band, “Actor”.
Moving to LA Galante fronted the band “Fire.” They gained international appeal and regional acclaim as one of LA ’ s top bands.
Galante was described by Music Connection magazine as “Arguably one of the hottest front women LA has to offer. ”
She continues to build momentum as a solo performer both at home and abroad touring The Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and Germany and adding more and adding more countries to her touring calendar.
Inducted into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame, Galante is in the company of Aretha Franklin, Rick James, Ani DiFranco, Spyro Gyra, The Goo Goo Dolls and Billy Sheehan and joins them on display
at the Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls.
John Michael writes emotional story-telling cross-genre songs with touches of sophistication, raw edged reality, and child-like wonder.
His stories relate his life experiences and those of others. Music has been his life.
John Michael Ferrari’s childhood was not a happy one. He found refuge in roller skating, ice skating, and playing his guitar and singing.
(He was not allowed to play his guitar in his step-father’s house.) The first song he learned was “Tom Dooley” and the first song he wrote at 14 was “Wah Do Wah Do” (not one for the record books.)"
I am Katja Tanskanen and a singer-songwriter/producer Katja T from Finland. As a singer my songs Not My Type, My La La La and Steal My Soul have been played on radios all over the world.
As a songwriter I have over 200 recorded songs mostly lyrics and single releases. I have got one gold record. My songs have been in many radio charts.
I compose songs and write lyrics mostly to the international market, Greece, Azerbaijan, UK, USA, Spain, Sweden, Italy, France, Ireland, Mexico, Australia etc.
I have earlier also been a record and a video producer and a marketer for other artists. The songs with my production have been played a lot on radios all over the world.
Ravenheart(GB) are a unique and powerful band fusing hard rock/metal to produce music which is a darkly gothic and melodious mix, influenced by metal, rock, sci fi, fantasy, horror and the dystopian times we live in.
Their sound is built on a solid dynamic and aggressive rhythm section, precise and melodic rhythm guitars add to the grandeur, the soaring and evocative lead guitars increase the intensity and the vocals top it off with a spooky sense of pending danger.
The Delphi Ravens are an alternative rock fusion band combining several musical styles.
The Ravens were founded in late 2019 by bassist and songwriter Papa B.™ The band comes from the Pacific Northwest with its rich history of breakthrough music.
Vocalist Kira delivers her dynamic vocals and co-writes many of the songs. The Band says, “We aren't vanilla or chocolate, but a blend of unique musical flavors!”
In 2021 the band recorded and released 7 new tracks - gained 25000 followers - had 85000 streams - was named Artist of the Month in June by MTV Rock - and is still ranked the number one Alternative Rock band in the Pacific Northwest in the USA by ReverbNation.
