Inner Sounds/Agustina Giovio is releasing a collaboration single, "The One" on Tuesday, April 21. They wrote/recorded this before COVID-19 pandemic took over.

The music was initiated by Inner Sounds bassist, Zac Carson, who brought the idea to the Inner Sounds music studio in Jersey City last November. Carson and Aguayo developed a basis for the music portion of the song. They then welcomed Uruguayan Singer/Songwriter Agustina Giovio to help complete the song. Aguayo & Giovio took a lead-role in developing the song's lyrics, and all 3 contributors worked on the music and lyrics together in completing the song.

“The One” is sung as a duet between Giovio & Aguayo on recording, with Giovio front-lining most of it. Aguayo takes the lead with his rap before the first chorus, which is also his first time rapping on a released song. It was produced and mixed executively by Aguayo, as well as co-produced by Carson and Giovio. Finally, they brought it to Grammy-Award Winning Mark Christensen (50 Cent, 98 Degrees, The Killers, OK Go, Tony Braxton, Trey Songz) at Engine Room Audio NYC to have the track mastered. The song was completed over the course of November 2019-February 2020. There is another pending Inner Sounds release to follow-up as well.

Aguayo's songs can be heard in the films “A Score to Settle” by Shaun Ku, starring Nicolas Cage and Ben Bratt, as well as “Night Sweats” starring John Wesley Shipp. “Night Sweats” features "Good Enough" by Inner Sounds. Elixir strings recently shared Aguayo's cover of “Invincible” (Muse) to their Facebook page. He has also appeared on WFMZ-TV several times and performed at well-known music venues such as Webster Hall, Starland Ballroom, Rockwood Music Hall, The Stone Pony, The Gin Mill, Chameleon Club, and several other clubs/bars. Aguayo completed 3 tours since the start of 2019, all self-booked. The first one involved Aguayo & Carson in support of the Inner Sounds album release from 12/31/18-1/6/19 including a WFMZ-TV appearance. Another was a solo-acoustic summer tour around the full perimeter of the USA, where Aguayo drove alone and slept in rest stops in 21 days. Finally, Aguayo & Giovio toured Uruguay at the turn of the new year. In April, 2020, Aguayo also recorded and released his 6-minute solo guitar composition "Disastrous" via iPhone video during COVID-19, which showcases his latest abilities as guitarist.

Agustina Giovio came to America by herself as a teenager. She is known for her pop-vocal abilities and songwriting. She has participated in shows/commercials by MTV, 7/11, Telemundo, & WFMZ-TV. Aguayo helped to compose/executively produce an EP for Agustina Giovio. "Find My Ooh La La" by Agustina Giovio and Chris Aguayo was released in October 2019, which went viral on Spotify. "Lucid Girl" by Giovio, Aguayo, Alexander Hayden, Jesse Blumenfeld, & Sawyer Hahn Adler was released with a music video on April 3, 2020.

Carson released his own album, “Between Two Worlds” in 2018 and is known for his composing and bass playing around New York City. He has traveled around the US with his original music and was based in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, & Arizona before coming to New York City.

Inner Sounds debut album was released 1/1/19. It’s a modern psych-rock-electro concept album about the connection between self acceptance, darkness, and love, as well as some follow up singles. This album includes "Good Enough" featured in Night Sweats, as well as "There's No Shame" which has a music video on youtube. The album was mostly composed by Aguayo in solitude, but also features a few songs that he collaborated with other songwriters on. Inner Sounds released a follow-up single, “Fuel for Your Desires” in May, 2019.
