FEATURED ARTIST    FEATURED ARTIST Xakestar is a Persian rock band originally formed in Tehran/Iran, and some years active in Falun/Sweden. The band was formed in early 1999 by Moe Khojasteh (lead guitar, bass, synthesizers and lyrics), Hani Rajabi (lead vocals, keyboards, synthesizers, and electronics) and Behruz Bazargan (drums). Moe has collaborated with many other artists, including Marek Starx, known on the Museboat channel. XAKESTAR's music can be defined as dark progrock with elements of industrial synth-rock and alternative metal. Over the years, the group's lineup has changed, and currently this musical project is managed by its founder, who lives in Iran.
