Lucidity is a Finnish metal ensemble that eludes easy classification within any specific genre. Their music encapsulates powerful emotions and melancholia, stemming from the profound roots of Finnish heritage, seamlessly intertwined with nuances of modern heavy music, reaching back to the progressive rock of the 70s. Originating from melodic death metal, the band has traversed a musical evolution, incorporating elements spanning from black metal to doom metal, and from progressive rock to atmospheric pop. Since their inception in 2004, the band has been guided by the notion of creating music they themselves would be eager to hear. Over the years, the musical preferences of the members have expanded, a facet evident in their current compositions and destined to shape their musical landscape in the future.
