The multitalented Katrina Syran is an international star with two U.S. Billboard chart hits and best actress nominations. She is a successful actor, author and lyricist. When asked what motivates her success, the Norwegian artist shares that she thrives in her art as an ardent activist for women’s rights. Syran’s play “Breaking the Silence,” which highlights the issue of gender inequality, has been nominated for Best Play at the London Summit. And her track “Intimacy” has been used as the anthem for International Women’s Day by the United Nations U.K. Syran has also recently produced and starred in “Ellida,” a film based on “The Lady from the Sea,” a progressive play written by a celebrated Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen in 1888.
