The Scratches give a fresh feel to a classic sound. Formed in Columbus, Ohio by veterans of the local punk scene, The Scratches quickly combined their individual strengths to develop a sound that is both original and nostalgic. They rely on catchy melodies and all the familiar tropes of 1990s pop punk, while delivering unexpected melodic bass lines, sudden tempo changes, and vocals that seamlessly flow between dynamic singers. The Scratches have played several high profile shows in Ohio, including Hell City Tattoo Festival, Columbus Pride Festival, Columbus Community Festival (ComFest), and Vans Warped Tour.
