HETTY CLARK

Sussex-based singer/songwriter Hetty Clark melds spacious soundscapes and riveting vocal emotion, embracing an inventive vein of downtempo electronic pop. Her songs are often understated, emitting deeply hypnotic qualities. Hetty is also inspired by raw, reverb-drenched sounds, from artists such as The xx, London Grammar and James Blake. Recently moving to Sussex after a stint in Los Angeles, Hetty has a multitude of releases on the near horizon. Her new track “High of You” was co-created with composer Guy Jackson in London and mixed in Brighton by Olly Shelton, a Brighton-based producer who is also one-half of the pop duo PELA. The track draws comparisons to Kate Bush in its spaciously enveloping mystique and powerful vocal performance.
