Damian Timothy Hempstead, also known as Damian, is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, actor and model from Sydney, Australia. Music has been a major part of Damian’s life from an early age making his stage debut at 8 years old as Oliver in Packemin’s production of the musical Oliver. Damian began playing drums and guitar and then at age 15 discovered his love of making and writing his own original music to express, share and influence listeners with a unique, alternative/indie, pop sound and lyrics. He is best known for his debut single ‘Perfect To Me’ released in January 2020 and his newly released single ‘Can’t Have You,’ which was recently reviewed by Leading Music Industry Blog A&R Factory. He is also known for his roles in the TV series ’The Gamers 2037’, ‘Deep Water’ & Flickerfest/Indiefest Short Films ‘The Paper Rose,’ ‘Pepper’ & ‘Absolutes.’ It’s been exciting for Damian to be able to regularly perform his original songs live weekly online, together with his favourite covers, on the Music Live Streaming Platform - Sessions Live.
