Brandon’s passion for music began at a very young age, when he would sing alongside his twin brother Brent. Around the age of eight, he started playing his dad’s bass guitar, but quickly switched to the electric guitar and fell in love. Throughout the next few years, Brandon spent endless hours practicing guitar and upon his discovery of the incredibly talented Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brandon knew he wanted to pursue a career in music.
The Gibbs Brothers Band was formed around the age of 14 and they began touring, writing and recording their own music. Their reputation for harmonies, instrumentation, and pure entertainment was earning them more opportunities. They would record three albums New Breed, Brothers N Arms, and Cover Up the Mess during their ten years together before the time came for the brothers to part ways.
