MORT JARDIN

Mort Jardin are influenced by post punk, psychedelia and cinematic soundtracks with shimmering guitars and duotone title sequences. A bit of dreampop, shoegaze stuff, general rock n roll, old new wave, maybe a bit alt-country and probably fit into the category ‘alternative’. I mean, who knows with this stuff... It’s from that long history of guitars trying not to be guitars, whilst bass and drums provide a structure. There is a lot of wordplay going on – with angular intent.
