TALLEEN

Montreal’s Talleen is a neo post-punk five piece whose music embodies elements of krautrock and dark wave. Its sound is a dionysian kick to an apollonian set of white teeth that leaves one in a spin, like an estonian whirlwind. The band’s debut album, The Black Sea, intends to put sight to sound, resuscitating ghosts of past conflagrations. It is both violence for the sake of peace, and peace for the unholy sake of violence.
