LYN_SEY

Lyn_Sey is the award winning, southeastern U.S. based sibling duo formed in 2019 out of their mutual love of music. Sis (Lynne Swaney) writes the songs, sings, and does most of the promo and social media interaction. Bro (Mark Daniels) does the instrumental/vocal arrangements and other behind the scenes tasks. This brother and sister were preacher’s kids and grew up being involved in music in their church as well as the school band and chorus. Mark also became involved in radio at a very young age and Lynne began songwriting around the age of 16. Lynne was previously the songwriter and a singer for a gospel group that Mark managed and was the record label for. After the group split, Mark and Lynne stepped back from the music world for several years as family and careers took priority. In 2019 Lynne’s songwriting passion was reignited after Mark’s encouragement and thus Lyn_Sey was born. Mark and Lynne like to describe their eclectic musical style as a collaboration of blending old school with modern elements. Their forte is not being tied down to a specific genre of music but love different styles such as country, pop, Americana, gospel, funk, R&B, jazz and rock.
