EPIC NELSON

Born from the vibrant musical landscape of the Bay Area, Epic Nelson came together in early 2023, with each member bringing a depth of musical experience and a shared passion for rock and blues. Frontman Eric Nelson III, whose charismatic presence and poignant songwriting quickly became the band's hallmark, met lead guitarist Jeff Nix during various music gigs around San Francisco. They were later joined by rhythm section virtuosos, bassist Eric Matsuno and drummer Brian Smith, to complete the formation. Epic Nelson’s music is a potent mix of rock energy and blues soulfulness, infused with compelling lyrics and melodies that stick with you long after the song ends. Their sound is reminiscent of classic rock and blues legends but comes with a modern twist that speaks to a wide range of audiences. Their live performances are particularly electrifying, known for their spontaneous energy and the ability to connect deeply with their audience.
