ABBI-K

Originating from the tropic island of St. Thomas, singer/songwriter/musician/worship leader Abigail Kichelle Herbert, also known as Abbi-K, was born with music flowing through her veins. Before the age of one, she and her family relocated to Antigua. By the age of ten, she began discovering her innate musical ability and shortly after taught herself how to play the keyboard, guitar, and drums. Despite her large array of instrumental talent, it was her raspy yet powerful voice that became her signature sound. It wasn’t long before she embarked on her musical journey by joining a local christian singing group. Being the youngest in this group of six girls, Abbi-K was given her first taste of performing in front of crowds as well as the opportunity to sing several solos. It was then that people began to recognize the unique and big sound coming from this seemingly small girl.
