SLEEPS UNDER BEAMS
SPOTLIGHTS & CAMPAIGNS
About
It was in the Autumn of 2020 when Drew Campbell (of The Netherlands) and Lisa A Swain (of NC in the USA) met on a collaboration website for composers, lyricists, etc. It was an instant connection between the two who not only shared some of the same influences, they shared the same dream...To create something beautiful together, each drawing from their own personal experiences, from both the positive and the negative. They wanted to be authentic, real and raw. Life isn't always pretty, but if you're lucky, you can still find the beauty in it and that's what they do. They mix the dark with the light, vulnerability with inner strength, not only in their instrumentation, but in the lyrics themselves. And now with the haunting vocals of their ethereal songstress, Anna Rea, Sleeps Under Beams has found its perfect balance.
