    About

Lois Brooks is an independent singer-songwriter from Blackpool, UK, whose emotionally charged songwriting and cinematic soundscapes are turning heads across national radio and online tastemakers. Her music blends moody piano-driven melodies with raw, honest vocals—drawing influence from David Bowie, Adele, and Tom Odell. Lois began playing piano at age three and was writing songs by eight. Her early track “Girl in the Dress,” written at 11, won the Song Academy Young Songwriter competition, judged by industry icons like Tom Odell & Fraser T Smith. Since then, she’s released a string of powerful originals including “The Man Who Fell to Earth,” “Make It Go Slow,” “Breathe,” and “Wasted”—each self-produced in the home studio she shares with her father and mastered at London’s Metropolis Studios. Her live sets feature a mix of original material and handpicked covers from artists like Fleetwood Mac, Depeche Mode, Bowie, and U2—delivered with nuance, confidence, and her own stylish twist. Whether performing solo on piano or with backing tracks, Lois captivates audiences with a sound that’s unmistakably hers. With over 6,000 organic followers and growing acclaim, Lois Brooks is a rising force in UK music—authentic, magnetic, and just getting started.
