Blue Benders were born out of the lively blues scene in Stockholm’s Old Town and spent many late nights at iconic venues like Stampen and S:ta Clara before being officially formed in May 2021. The band’s journey began when guitarists Edvin and Morris started exploring the local music scene. With the inclusion of their friend Samson as singer, the band began to shape its own sound. The additions of Oskar on drums and Johan on bass created a musical cocktail with space for each member’s distinct flavor. Sparked by a curiosity for musical landscapes beyond traditional blues, the sound often transcends genre borders — resulting in a kaleidoscopic mix of blues, rock, soul, and funk that continues to evolve and surprise audiences.
