ANJA KOTAR

About

Anja Kotar is a Slovenian-born, California-based pop singer-songwriter, producer, and classically trained pianist making cinematic, literary pop about books, seasons, memory, girlhood, love, and romanticizing everyday life. Her songs blend conversational storytelling, piano-led songwriting, classical influences, whimsical imagery, and emotionally detailed pop production. Her projects include 12 Months, a musical calendar with one seasonal pop song for every month of the year, Hopeless Romantic, a romcom-inspired album, and At The Bookstore, a literary-pop project inspired by books, book covers, genres, bookstores, and imagined worlds.
